████,

The transition is still under discussion, but upper management appears committed to expanding our artificial intelligence division.

Research remains our primary objective. The proposed change is intended to broaden our capabilities, not replace our existing work.

Several ongoing projects require computational resources beyond what our current infrastructure can provide. AI development has been identified as a potential solution.

At this stage, I wouldn't be too concerned about the public-facing branding. The technologies being developed are years away from implementation, and most of the work remains strictly internal.

We'll have more information following the board meeting next month.

Are we still moving forward with the proposed brand shift?

I understand the potential benefits of entering the artificial intelligence market, but our reputation as a research corporation has been a major part of our identity for nearly a decade. I'm concerned that shifting our focus too aggressively may create confusion regarding our long-term objectives.

Have we finalized a timeline for the transition, or is this still under discussion?
